Brewery: 8 Arch Brewing Co
Serve: 330ml Bottle
Price: Sample from #CraftBeerHour
Expectations: Apart from the lovely bottle and the kind words from Tom @CraftBeerHour we had no expectations.
Deliberations: Lovely citrus flavours coming of the bottle on this one, when poured they only got bigger.A really summery feeling aroma on this one. Made me wish for a sunny Dorset beach and summer again, rather than the freezing cold walk that I endured before pouring!
On drinking there is a lovely hoppy quality, that is balanced by the fruit flavours and some bitterness of malt. None of this is overpowering and all the notes balance well. It has a lovely murky quality that makes the spirit really drinkable.
The maltiness comes out through more drinking and there is caramel sweetness also.
Verdict: Lovely, summery ale. Super easy to drink. I literally grabbed for an empty glass once done, which to me is proof that I need more in my life!
